The 2015 NBA Draft begins Thursday with the Minnesota Timberwolves on the clock.
The prevailing sentiment is Kentucky Wildcats forward Karl-Anthony Towns will be the first selection this year. fighting with him for the top spot are Duke's Jahlil Okafor and Ohio State's D'Angelo Russell. Okafor is the only real threat to push Towns out of the top pick, but Towns is widely expected to be Minnesota's selection.
After that is anyone's guess. The Los Angeles Lakers hold the No. 2 pick, and they could go in a variety of directions. Okafor, Russell and Latvia's Kristaps Porzingis are rumored to be in contention for the second pick. This is shaping up to be one of the wilder drafts in recent memory with a host of draft-day trades expected to go down.
