JaQuize Cross commits to Kentucky Wildcats

JaQuize Cross became the third defensive lineman to join Kentucky football's 2016 class.

The Kentucky Wildcats have scored a commitment from 2016 defensive tackle JaQuize Cross, according to Scout.com's Patrick Loney.

A 6-3, 292-pound lineman out of Buckhorn (Ala.), Cross committed Wednesday night to give the Cats their third defensive lineman for 2016. He currently has a three-star rating by 24/7 Sports and is their No. 44 prospect fro the state of Alabama. Cross recently scored scholarship offers from Purdue and Minnesota.

As has been the case in many of UK's commitments in this class, fellow 2016 prospect and Wildcat commit Drake Jackson was leading the way on Twitter in Cross' recruitment:

Cross becomes the 18th commitment in what's become a stellar 2016 class from UK. It should grown next week when four-star linebacker Kash Daniel announces his decision between UK, South Carolina and Louisville with the Cats being the prohibitive favorites.
