The Kentucky Wildcats might not have to wait long to learn where Jamal Murray is going.
Though he's planning on an announcement live on ESPNU this Tuesday at 6 p.m., it looks as though Murray may have already given his pledge to Oregon. The guys at Zagsblog caught this tweet from Elgin Cook, a junior forward from Oregon, who apparently is welcoming in the newest Ducks commitment:
There's no telling if this is just Cook guessing or he knows something, but it's nonetheless a bad sign for Kentucky. At the rate this 2015 recruiting class has gone though, it's only fitting that the Cats would finish second place to what looks to be the final recruit they'll pursue for next season.
Then again, can you really blame a point guard for not wanting to come to a school that already has Tyler Ulis and Isaiah Briscoe? At Oregon, Murray could actually become the lead guard, whereas at Kentucky, he'll probably never be that while Ulis is there.
