With Kentucky out for the summer, Karl-Anthony Towns is spending him time in L.A. to prepare for the NBA draft.
Towns is expected to go within the first two rounds, possibly No. 1 to the Minnesota Timberwolves. It's possible they pass on Towns, leaving the L.A. Lakers to snag him at No. 2.
He's not really worried about where he could go, at least, that's how he sounded during his interview with DraftExpress in L.A. Towns said he's more focused right now about hitting the gym every day and training as much as possible to ensure he's ready for the NBA on Day 1 of his rookie season.
Towns also made it clear he's not defining his position or what he wants to be in the NBA. He simply wants to be what fits best with which team drafts him and do what they need him to do.
