Over the weekend, four star shooting guard LeGerald Vick was supposed to visit Lexington to take in all that Kentucky has to offer. Vick originally committed to SMU, but later opened his recruitment back up and quickly cut his list to the Kentucky Wildcats, the Kansas Jayhawks, and the Kansas State Wildcats for his services.
But he never made it to campus on Sunday, and chose Kansas as his destination. This looked to be another blow to this long and strange recruiting season for the class of 2015. But then word broke that Canadian standout shooting guard Jamal Murray is making his official visit to Kentucky today. Adam Zagoria confirmed as much with this tweet:
Jamal Murray is on an official visit to Kentucky right now, his dad tells @SNYtv

Murray is listed as a 6'5 combo guard, but he could easily play the small forward for John Calipari, and fill a gap at the position. He recently burst onto the scene dazzling at the Nike Hoops Summit game, and was easily the best guard on the court. That was a court that included Isaiah Briscoe and Malik Newman. Murray dropped 30 points in that game and led the World Team in a victory over the USA. The following Tuesday night he had 29 points, eight rebounds and 10 assists in an All Canadian Game.
Murray is currently a member of the 2016 class, but the talk of him reclassifying to 2015 and landing at Kentucky is really starting to heat up. He's an excellent player and would add a weapon at the three spot that Kentucky currently is without. He could be a game changer for the 'Cats and could vault Calipari's current recruiting class back into the top position.
Watch Jamal work. Don't get your hopes up, but watch out if Calipari nabs him:
