Previous honorees include Lopez Lomong, a Lost Boy of Sudan who became a two-time Olympic athlete and founder of the Lopez Lomong Foundation, and Ronan Tynan, a Paralympic athlete, physician and singer noted for being one of the Irish Tenors.

Bat Cats claim the first game of their series with Georgia, but the Dawgs come back to defeat UK in the second game setting up a crucial rubber match today.
Women’s golf just misses NCAA Championship, needing to finish in the top six of the South Bend regional. They finished seventh. Isabelle Johansson did qualify for the individual championship, however.
- More media hypocrisy. Mike Bianchi lauds Jimbo Fisher for making Florida State effectively an NFL farm team, while he has consistently hated on Calipari for doing the same thing with UK’s basketball team. Typically sad state of affairs.
