Kentucky held its spring scrimmage today on the practice fields due to ongoing CWS construction. Today's practice was the final time the players will pad-up until August camp rolls around. I'll share my own thoughts tomorrow on the state of the team exiting spring ball. For now, here's what the Twitterverse had to say about today's proceedings...

Gonna be the Boom Show today. Horton and Kemp both in shorts.

WR Alex Montgomery, who Stoops said could miss the rest of spring with lingering knee issues, is in some pads, shorts, running routes.

Pat Towles completes a pretty pass (and nice catch) to Blake Bone against second team defense.

Long touchdown pass from Drew Barker to wide open Thaddeus Snodgrass draws huge applause.

Second batted pass for Farrington Huguenin at line of scrimmage (on third down).

UK freshman defensive end Kenegra Daniel definitely passes the look test. Towers over rest of 2nd string D
— Mark Story (@markcstory) April 11, 2015
True freshman George Asafo-Adjei is playing right tackle w/ 2nd team offense

Great catch by frosh TE CJ Conrad between two defenders

They have a GoPro on @patty_ice14's helmet at the open practice.

Now Thaddeus Snodgrass makes an amazing catch on a Towles deep ball again right in front of me. Where I am is apparently the place to be.
— meisterbuerger (@meisterbuerger) April 11, 2015
Forrest with his second pick of Drew Barker, and Jordan Swindle tried to chase him down which @meisterbuerger found hilarious

This little guys favorite player is Drew Barker pic.twitter.com/NzWFuhV6Sq

Boom Williams runs down line shaking fan hands after his touchdown run. Towles led that drive with first team offense against first team D.
— Jen Smith (@jenheraldleader) April 11, 2015
TV Williams with an excellent TD catch while being tightly guarded by Cody Quinn. Pass from Barker.
— Jen Smith (@jenheraldleader) April 11, 2015
Boom with back-to-back scoots of 10-plus, running to the right, behind No. 1 line vs. No. 1 D.
— Kyle Tucker (@KyleTucker_CJ) April 11, 2015
Huguenin looks great today. Another PBU at the line. And Flannigan, wow. Stride for stride in coverage down sideline with Boom.
— Kyle Tucker (@KyleTucker_CJ) April 11, 2015
Good God, Jacob Hyde at fullback. Flattened safety on that block.
— Kyle Tucker (@KyleTucker_CJ) April 11, 2015
Stoops on Towles' bombs: "He's been doing that. We've been working on that." Says QB comp still goes back and forth.
— Kyle Tucker (@KyleTucker_CJ) April 11, 2015
Stoops says Huguenin is "going to have a big year." http://t.co/XScdhYdd7Y
— Kyle Tucker (@KyleTucker_CJ) April 11, 2015
Offensive line is more confident out there and I'm more confident in them, Towles said.
— Jen Smith (@jenheraldleader) April 11, 2015
Routine plays looked routine, Stoops said.

Hallelujah on that last tweet.
