Auburn beat Mississippi State last night in the first round of the SEC Tournament, and South Carolina took care of Missouri.

Today, we have four games:

• Game 4: No. 5 Texas A&M vs. No. 13 Auburn, 3 p.m., SEC Network
• Game 5: No. 7 Vanderbilt vs. No. 10 Tennessee, 7 p.m., SEC Network
• Game 6: No. 6 Ole Miss vs. No. 11 South Carolina, 9 p.m., SEC Network

• USDish has a "Bragging rights" bracket here that's pretty cool. For those of you who have to deal with opposing fans (especially Cardinals fans) all day, this might be fun for you.

• Isaiah Briscoe, one of our 2015 commits, is pretty good. He dropped 34 on Trenton Catholic to lead Roselle Catholic to victory.

• The Kentucky Kernel says that for success, UK should unleash the guards. I didn't know they were leashed.

• Does Christian Laettner think his championship teams could beat UK? Hard to believe it's been 25 years. I think you'll enjoy watching this.

• Did a nuclear war kill all life on Mars? I'm going to go way out on a limb here and say, "Hell, no."

• Emergent risks from new technology. "Innovation isn't automatically for the good." Well, truer words have never been spoken, but if there's one thing you cannot fight, it's change. For good or ill, even if it creates existential threats like nuclear weapons, another innovation, did, we have to come to grips with it.

• The universe is made of math, according to this scientist. That seems a rather eccentric viewpoint. Isn't math what we use to validate our description of the universe? Seems a stretch to call it a component.
