It's safe to say Rajon Rondo is back.
That was pretty evident before Sunday's game between Rondo's Kings and the Thunder, a game in which the former Kentucky Wildcat dished out one of the best passes you'll ever see in a basketball game.
On the play, Rondo skied for an offensive rebound off of a missed three-pointer, whipped the ball behind his back with an unreal behind-the-back bounce pass to Marco Belinelli for a wide-open three:
This was absurd, @RajonRondo! @SacramentoKings #NBAvine https://t.co/XNRNGkjCGN

I'm not sure I've ever seen someone even try a behind-the-back pass from the paint to a guy on the perimeter, let alone make it. There's no question when Rondo is at his best, he's a hall-of-fame caliber player, and it's good to see him playing near that level once again. It looked like the former Cat was fading into the abyss after his ACL in 2013 was followed by two subpar seasons with the Celtics and Mavericks.
Rondo has now re-discovered himself in Sacramento with DeMarcus Cousins, who is ready to kidnap Rondo and make him re-sign with the Kings next offseason.
