Devin Booker calls Kentucky soft; Tyler Ulis lights into Skal Labissiere

Skal and the Cats played far too soft vs UCLA to win, and they're getting called out for it.

The Kentucky Wildcats are now 7-1 after suffering their first defeat of 2015 Thursday night at UCLA.

It was a game the Bruins controlled from start to finish as they outplayed the Cats in just about every way possible. There's no question Kentucky is the most talented team, but all of that talent means nothing if you're not willing to fight with it, something these Cats aren't doing enough of.

Former Wildcat Devin Booker knows what it takes to win and win big. He was part of a UK team that went 38-1 last season and were one of the most physically dominating teams in college basketball.

He's not impressed with what he's seen from this year's UK squad:

While Booker didn't say it in the Tweet, he's not in any way implying that his good friend Tyler Ulis is soft. Unfortunately, Ulis is having to deal with several teammates who are playing soft, including Skal Labissiere.

The stud freshman finished with just six points and one rebound against UCLA, an obvious sign he played just about as soft as a big man can play, and Ulis finally grew tired of it in the second half:

I love the fire by Tyler, and hopefully it lights a fire under Skal.
