A bad start vs the UCLA Bruins got worse as the Kentucky Wildcats lost Marcus Lee to a head injury during the first half.
Lee, who was seen on the bench holding his head in pain, apparently suffered a head injury at some point that will keep him out for the rest of the contest.
Marcus Lee has a head injury and will not return to the game. Big loss for us.

This is a tough break for both UK and Lee, who hails from California and was really looking forward to this game and getting to play in front of friends and family.
Lee is enjoying the most successful season of his three-year career in helping the Cats race out to a 7-0 start to the season and a No. 1 national ranking. He is averaging career highs in points (8.3) and rebounds (7.6) while registering the first two double-doubles of his career this season, including a 10-point, 10-rebound performance against No. 5 Duke in the State Farm Champions Classic.
