It was a special atmosphere Saturday as Kentucky beat Louisville, but the best moment of the day came before the game as Marlana VanHoose sang the national anthem:
VanHoose is a 19-year-old Kentucky native who suffers from cerebral palsy, but has an incredible voice that has carried her from singing at UK women’s basketball games to performing at the MLB Home Run Derby and the NBA Finals.
She's awesome, and hearing her sing is truly a special moment, regardless of the game it's happening before.
