As the Kentucky Wildcats were getting set to face the Louisville Cardinals, freshman guard Isaiah Briscoe suffered what appeared to be an ankle injury during pregame warmups.

Uh-oh. Isaiah Briscoe just limped off the court. He had not been participating in warm-up activities.

Isaiah Briscoe just left the court during warm-ups with a little limp after rolling his ankle on a manager's foot. Will monitor

Isaiah Briscoe just pulled up in warm ups, now sitting on the side holding his leg. Trainer now sitting with him. He is stretching left leg

Briscoe is up, walking very gingerly. Going to mid court now. He is showing the trainer what he did looks like he is showing an ankle roll

UK: Briscoe turned his left ankle, but he's going to try to play.

It's also been confirmed that Briscoe is out of the starting lineup as freshman guard Charles Matthews replaces him.

While Briscoe hasn't been the offensive force he was expected to be this season, he has been a great on-ball defender for UK, which the Cats need badly against a Cardinals team that gets almost all of their scoring from their backcourt.
We'll keep you posted on any more developments with Briscoe's status.
