New College Basketball Top 25 Coaches Poll and CBS Poll

A wild week of college basketball left some big shakeups in the latest Coaches Top 25 Poll.

The Michigan State Spartans remained unblemished and thus claimed the No. 1 spot in every major poll once more. The North Carolina Tar Heels fell out of the top 10 following their buzzer-beating loss to the Texas Longhorns on Saturday.

The Purdue Boilermakers and Xavier Musketeers have now climbed all the way into the top 10 after opening the season outside or just barely in the top 25. They've easily been two of the biggest surprises this season, but let's see if they can keep it up beyond the first quarter of this season.

As for the Kentucky Wildcats, they remained at the No. 4 spot following wins over EKU and Arizona State. Neither was anything to get excited or down about, so it's fair that UK stayed at the same spot this week.

With that said, here is a look at the latest USA Today Coaches Top 25 Poll:
