The Kentucky Wildcats are still the favorites to win the 2015-16 NCAA National Championship based on the latest odds from Bovada.
The top-ranked Cats come in at 5-1 odds after opening the season with 7-1 odds to hang banner No. 9. A big reason why was their dominating win over No. 5 Duke, who still has 10-1 odds to win it all. That's actually tied with North Carolina for the third-best odds.
Michigan State has the second-best odds at 9-1. Kansas, who Kentucky plays at in January, is tied with Virginia with the fifth-best odds at 12-1. UK's next opponent, UCLA, comes in at 100-1 odds.
The biggest differential between odds and current ranking lies with Maryland, who is No. 2 and receiving first-place votes in both major polls, yet have only the seventh-best odds to win the title. I'm no betting expert, but given the amount of talent they have, it's not going to be a complete shock if they're cutting down the nets at season's end, so they're probably the best value bet right now.
