One year ago today, Karl-Anthony Towns was getting set for his first and only college basketball season.
Now, he's five games into his first NBA season and having one of the better starts to a rookie campaign in recent memory. Towns played 27 minutes during a 102-93 overtime win over the Bulls on Saturday night while scoring 17 points with 13 rebounds, two assists, one steal and four blocks. He even dished out an assist to former Cat Tayshaun Prince for a dagger score in overtime as their Timberwolves improved to 3-2 after winning just 16 games all of last season.
It's still early, but Towns is already looking like he's bound for stardom as he makes the Big Blue Nation proud.
