It looks like we'll know Harry Giles' plans a lot sooner than anyone anticipated.

ESPN recruiting expert Paul Biancardi reports it will be Friday at Giles' high school, per Giles' father:
Giles Jr., said his son still plans to announce his decision on what school he'll attend, on Friday from Oak Hill Academy (Virginia) at noon ET on SportsCenter. The four schools still involved with Giles' recruitment are Duke, Kentucky, Kansas and Wake Forest.
This is big news for the Kentucky Wildcats, Duke Blue Devils, Kansas Jayhawks and Wake Forest Demon Deacons as they look to secure the services of one of the best high school players there is right now. Giles is regarded by most recruiting services as a top-three prospect in the Class of 2016. He's ESPN's No. 1 overall prospect, and Draft Express has Giles as the No. 1 overall pick in the 2017 NBA Draft.
All of this news comes after it was revealed that Giles suffered a partially-torn ACL this week. That probably is what led Giles to move up his commitment to Friday instead of next week like was originally planned. The early college basketball signing period opens next Wednesday, so it looks like Giles will be signing then after he makes his commitment tomorrow on ESPN's SportsCenter at noon ET.
