Julius Randle a bright spot on slow night for former Cats in NBA

Recap of former Cats in the NBA November 3.

Kirby Lee-USA TODAY Sports

Incredibly, only five former Kentucky Wildcats took the floor on Tuesday in the NBA.

Julius Randle was the bright spot of the  former Cats for the night tallying 16 points, five rebounds, two assists, a block, and a steal in the Lakers' 120-109 loss to the Nuggets. Randle took a finger in the eye late in the first half causing him to come out in the second half wearing goggles, and he finished the game wearing them.

Anthony Davis had a solid game for the Pelicans Tuesday night, but for Davis' usual standards it was a down game for the Brow. He totaled 14 points, nine rebounds, five blocks, an assist, and a steal in the 103-94 loss to Orlando. As talented as Davis is, however, don't be surprised to see him bounce back and put up video-game numbers again soon.

Willie Cauley-Stein and Rajon Rondo took the floor Tuesday night without fellow former Cat DeMarcus Cousins who is out with a strained right Achilles. He is expected back Wednesday or Friday. As for the two that laced them up; Rondo had five points, six rebounds, and four assists while Willie added nine points, seven rebounds, an assist, a block, and a steal in the Kings' 103-89 loss to Memphis.

Patrick Patterson also took the floor Tuesday night finishing with just five rebounds and no points on 0-6 shooting in the Raptors' 102-91 win over Dallas.
