The Kentucky Wildcats have updated their depth chart ahead of Saturday's matchup with the Louisville Cardinals.
After a dominating win over Charlotte on Saturday, there weren't expected to be many changes on the new depth chart. That included starting quarterback, where redshirt freshman Drew Barker finally got his first start and played efficiently against the 49ers this past Saturday.
The latest chart still has Barker at No. 1 ahead of junior Patrick Towles. However, we should expect to see Towles play this week 'if' Barker struggles and the Cats find themselves in an early hole. Barker didn't do enough vs Charlotte that he should have the starting spot fully secured, especially with so much on the line this week.
The one notable change this week is now the starting running back spot is listed as Boom Williams 'or' Jojo Kemp. Both have been playing great down the stretch and deserve close to a 50-50 split.
A.J. Stamps is now back into the stop spot at one of the two starting safety spots, though Mike Edwards is still starting at the other spot. The two starters were Edwards and Marcus McWilson, but Stamps has played great as of late and deserves to start his final game in Commonwealth Stadium.
Here is the fully-updated depth chart:
