College Basketball Coaches Poll Top 25 Updated

The North Carolina Tar Heels and Kentucky Wildcats remain on top of the latest college basketball USA Today Coaches Top 25 Poll.

However, it's now the Heels alone in first place after they were tied with UK for the top spot in the opening poll this season. North Carolina was also the No. 1 team in the first AP Poll with UK also No. 2 there.

As for UK's next opponent, the Duke Blue Devils check in at the No. 4 spot after opening the season there. That means we'll see 2 vs 4 Tuesday night when the Cats and the Blue Devils face off in Chicago in the Champions Classic. that will be the first matchup of top-five teams this season, and it may end up being one of, if not the most significant non-conference game this year.
