Kentucky Wildcats Quickies: De'Aaron Fox Decision Edition

Get the basketball Yahtzee dice ready...

The Kentucky Wildcats will likely add one of the top players in 2016 class today in the form of De'Aaron Fox.

A five-star point guard out of Texas, Fox is ranked as one of the five-best '16 prospects by most recruiting services. He's also possibly the next great one-and-done guard that John Calipari coaches. Fox would also join Sacha Killeya-Jones and Wenyen Gabriel to help form what's shaping up to be one of, if not the top recruiting class.

Or as we call it, a normal year in Kentucky.

Recruiting Q&A: Kentucky coach John Calipari
With the early signing period beginning Wednesday in college hoops, ESPN's Paul Biancardi sits down with Kentucky coach John Calipari to talk recruiting.

Are the Sacramento Kings coming after Calipari?
The Big Lead reports that John Calipari may be a target of Kings owner Vivek Ranadive. "The Kings over-drafting Willie Cauley-Stein 6th last summer was mostly due to Ranadive’s friendship with Calipari. Ditto the signing of Rajon Rondo. In early October, The Big Lead has learned that Ranadive cleared everything off his schedule one week to jet to Lexington, Kentucky at the last minute at the behest of Calipari for a Kentucky basketball event."

3 years isn't enough time for Stoops to complete restoration project
The Cats are a 4-5 team, no better, no worse, that finishes with three winnable games. Doesn't mean UK will win. It does mean UK has a reasonable chance to win.

Albany head coach Will Brown previews matchup with UK

Vanderbilt's 5 impact players to watch vs. Kentucky
The Commodores will need these five will need to play well for Vandy to win Saturday: Obviously, Kentucky will need to ensure they don't to get the win themselves.
