National Signing Day is here, and the Kentucky Wildcats have their first signature of the 2016 class.

Five-star forward Wenyen Gabriel has officially signed his national letter of intent with UK for the 2016-17 college basketball season. He did so at a ceremony at his high school Wednesday and is now officially a Wildcat.

Gabriel is the most recent player to commit to UK, and there was never any doubt he was signing with the Cats during the early signing period. The 6-9, 195-pound forward out of Wilbraham and Monson Academy (N.H.) is ranked by 24/7 Sports as the No. 17 prospect in the Class of 2016 and the No. 5 power forward. He's also the No. 17 prospect on Rivals, and ESPN has him at No. 23.

Gabriel  visited Kentucky back in September before ultimately committing in October. He is expected to be one of 4-6 players to sign with Kentucky during the early signing period. Sacha Killeya-Jones and Tai Wynyard are committed to UK and expected to sign this week. De'Aaron fox is expected to commit and sign with the Cats Thursday night.

Here are some of Gabriel's highlights:
