Edrice 'Bam' Adebayo sets official visit with Kentucky Basketball

The Kentucky Wildcats already have a pair of commitments from five-star forwards in 2016, but John Calipari wants more.

Five-star power forward Edrice "Bam" Adebayo will take an official visit to UK this weekend, according to Adam Zagoria.

Bam Adebayo will take an unofficial visit to Kentucky this coming weekend and to N.C. State Oct. 30, sources told SNY.tv.

Kentucky coach John Calipari has met recently with the 6-foot-10 Adebayo — and his mother — in North Carolina. Calipari has visited Adebayo twice at High Point Christian (N.C.) after offering him towards the end of July.

Adebayo, a 6-9, 232-pound forward, is ranked as the No. 7-overall prospect on Rivals and No. 6 on ESPN. He hails from Northside High School in Pinetown (NC), and his 24/7 Crystal Ball has the NC State Wolfpack as the favorites with the North Carolina Tar Heels also receiving votes.
