The Kentucky Wildcats got two major scares Saturday night, the latter being more serious after an unknown player was transported to a local hospital following the team's 34-27 OT win over EKU.
"The on-field doctor is requesting EMS to Field Gate 4 for a UK player being transported to the hospital w/ abdominal pain."

It was never revealed who the player was, but a UK spokesman has since told Jen Smith of the Lexington Herald-Leader that the player was released from the hospital:
The unnamed UK player transported to the hospital after the game had some tests run and was released, team spokesman said.

It looks like whatever it happened wasn't anything serious, but it's always best to play it safe with these kinds of things.
