The Kentucky Wildcats will have a different color for part of tonight's uniforms to be worn against EKU.
In support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the Cats are adding a little pink to their gloves and wristbands:
This is a common practice among sports teams across all leagues this time of the year. October marks the beginning of Breast Cancer Awareness month, an annual campaign that aims to increase knowledge and awareness of the disease. According to the American Cancer Society, every two minutes sees a woman in the United States diagnosed with breast cancer.
Last year, Kentucky donned the same pink modifications to their gear when they faced Louisiana-Monroe. Hopefully like that game, we'll see the Cats get the win while showing off their swag pink in the process.
