Kentucky Wildcats Football: 4-Star TE Charles Reeves Jr. Commits

Kentucky football just received another commitment for the class of 2017.

This just in:

Charles Reeves Jr. is a tight end out of Steubenville, Ohio.He had offers from Michigan, Ohio, and Wisconsin, as well as interest from Ohio State and West Virginia. He clocks in at 6'5, 240 pounds.

How does he stack up according to the ranking services?

24/7- 3 stars, #11 Tight End, #16 Player in Ohio

Scout- 4 stars, #6 Tight End

Rivals- 3 stars, #17 Player in Ohio

Charles Reeves joins a 2017 class that includes (according to Rivals) three-star defensive end James Hudson, three-star quarterback Mac Jones, three-star running back Michael Warren, three-star quarterback Walker Wood, and three-star wide receiver Russ Yeast.

Three out of those five recruits are from the state of Ohio. Thank you, Vince Marrow.

Reeves is a big, bruising tight end, but he is extremely athletic. Watch the development of current Wildcat CJ Conrad to see what the future of a gifted tight end prospect looks like at Kentucky. If Reeves sticks with UK, then the 'Cats won't miss a beat at that position when Conrad's time is finished.

Now a big win Saturday would be great to continue this mojo.
