The Kentucky Wildcats will be opening their 2015-16 basketball season soon, and John Calipari is working to have several recruiting pledges before then.

UK opens the regular season against Albany on November 13, which is right around the time five-star point guard De'Aaron Fox is looking to have a decision made, as he told Scout.com's Evan Daniels.

November 11 is the first day that senior high school prospects can sign a national letter of intent, and November 18th is the final day to do so in the early signing period. That's they window we should hear a decision from Fox, if not sooner. He doesn't have any more visits planned, and all indications are that UK will be the pick.

Fox was among several highly-touted prospects who attended Big Blue Madness this past week, though it was Harry Giles who was the biggest of them all. ESPN's No. 1-overall prospect in 2016 had a good visit with UK, enough so that it helped lead to him canceling his upcoming visit with North Carolina, per SNY's Adam Zagoria.

Duke is still the team to beat for his services though. UK simply pushed themselves into the final two or three schools he'll ultimately choose from. He is scheduled to make his official visit to Duke on Halloween weekend. If Giles signs in the early period, it will likely be Duke.

One other quick note: Malik Monk's 24/7 Sports Crystal Ball now has Kentucky as his leader after they overtook Arkansas for the slight edge. Several predictions for Monk to UK came in following his visit for Big Blue Madness, which by all indications went great for him. Getting him and Fox in the same class would all but assure UK would have one of, if not the best backcourt in America next year.
