College Football Bowl Projections: Week 8 Edition

With Week 7 of college football over, it's time for a roundup of the latest bowl projections.

Over at ESPN, Brett McMurphy has the Kentucky Wildcats taking on the Texas Tech Red Raiders in the Liberty Bowl in his latest projections. He's had UK taking on Duke in most of his projections, but the Red Raiders would present a unique matchup with their true air-raid offense.

Mark Schlabach once again has the Cats taking on the Cincinnati Bearcats in the Birmingham Bowl. CBS Sports' Jerry Palm has that same projection.

The guys at College Sports Madness have Kentucky projected to play Temple in the Birmingham Bowl. The Owls are one of the final unbeaten teams left standing while playing in the American Conference.

SB Nation's Jason Kirk once again has Kentucky taking on the Penn State Nittany Lions in the TaxSlayer Bowl in Jacksonville, Florida.

If you're interested in the national picture and who may be playing in this year's College Football Playoff,  Schlabach has Ohio State vs Utah and Alabama vs. Baylor in his latest CFP projections. McMurphy has Baylor vs Stanford and Michigan State vs Clemson in his projection.

Kirk has Ohio State vs Clemson and Alabama vs Baylor. Palm's projection has TCU taking on Alabama and Ohio State facing Clemson. Bleacher Report's Daniel Rodgers has Clemson vs. LSU and Ohio State vs. Baylor for his CFP matchups.

Which of the following matchups intrigues you the most? I'd favor the Penn State vs Kentucky matchup, but seeing the Cats and Red Raiders in a shootout would also be fun.
