New Orleans Pelicans forward Anthony Davis may be the best player on Earth when it comes to swatting shots.
Davis led the league in blocks last season with 2.94 per game, but I doubt he had many against Sacramento Kings forward DeMarcus Cousins, and it was Boogie who had the last laugh on Saturday night.
During the Kings vs Pelicans preseason matchup in Rupp Arena, Cousins caught the ball at the top of the key, dribbled past one defender and then just physically overpowered Davis to dunk the ball.
Once Boogie gets a running start and a head of steam towards the rim, there's not many, if any defender in the league that's going to stop him. Boogie’s Kings also came out on top, beating the Pelicans 107-98, in a game that featured several former Kentucky Wildcats.
