The Kentucky Wildcats have added another commitment in the Class of 2017.
Prior to kickoff against Auburn, Lafayette (KY) quarterback Walker Wood has committed to UK, he announced via his Twitter page:
So happy to say that I've committed to the University of Kentucky! So blessed to have the best people in my life ⚪️ pic.twitter.com/KDoDf8vn2C

Wood is listed by most recruiting services as a dual-threat QB prospect. ESPN doesn't have a report on him, but 24/7 Sports and Rivals have given Wood a three-star rating. Cincinnati and Louisville have also offered the in-state QB, but Mark Stoops and his staff have gotten just about every in-state prospect they've wanted since he came to UK.
Oh, and Wood is the teammate of UK commitment and 2016 four-star recruit Landon Young. Even better is that that's two Lafayette commits and teammates of five-star lineman Jedrick Wills, who is at UK for a visit with the Cats as they take on Auburn. He's looking more and more like a UK lean as they days go on, and this only helps.
