Kentucky Football: New Depth Chart for Auburn Week; Boom Williams back on top

The new UK depth chart ahead of Thursday's matchup with Auburn has some very interesting developments.

Mark Zerof-USA TODAY Sports

The Kentucky Wildcats have a big game this Thursday when they host the Auburn Tigers in primetime for the whole world to see.

As is the case every Monday, UK put out a new depth chart. Stanley 'Boom' Williams is listed as the starting running back after not playing against EKU in the Cats' last game due to a personal issue. Mark Stoops and Williams have said that's behind them now, and having Boom as the starter is a good indication that is the case.

Another notable development is defensive lineman Reggie Meant being back on the depth chart as a co-starter with Cory Johnson. A shoulder injury that Meant suffered against Florida prevented him from playing against Missouri and EKU, but he should play this week.

Cole Mosier has lost his starting left tackle spot to Jordan Swindle, who missed most of the Missouri game with a groin injury. He returned against EKU in relief of Mosier, and it looks like Swindle is blindside protector once again.
