Week 6 of the 2015 college football season didn't leave a lot of changes at the top, which is why a lot of the latest bowl projections don't have too many changes either.
At ESPN, Brett McMurphy still has the Kentucky Wildcats taking on the Duke Blue Devils in the Belk Bowl for his latest projections. The two blue blood programs in college hoops will face each other on the hardwood in Chicago on November 17th, and it's possible we seem them face on the gridiron a little over a month later.
As for Mark Schlabach, he has UK taking on the Cincinnati Bearcats in the Birmingham Bowl. Personally, I think Duke vs Kentucky is far more ideal, but fans will be happy just seeing their Cats play in a bowl game.
SB Nation's Jason Kirk might have the most tantalizing projection with Kentucky facing the Penn State in the TaxSlayer Bowl in Jacksonville, Florida. Given the Lions' following, it's possible this game could have a larger attendance in Florida than any other projection. It would also be what could be the only other shot UK gets at James Franklin after he went 3-0 vs the Cats at Vanderbilt.
CBS Sports' Jerry Palm has another intriguing matchup with UK taking on the Virginia Tech Hokies in the Belk Bowl. Those two programs face each other six times in the 1970s, but haven't played since 1987 with UK owning an 11-6 all-time lead in the series.
If you're interested in the national picture and could be in the next College Football Playoff, Schlabach has Baylor vs Clemson and Alabama vs. Utah in his latest projections. McMurphy has Baylor vs Stanford and Michigan vs Clemson in his projection. Kirk has Ohio State vs Clemson and Alabama vs Baylor. Palm's projection has TCU vs Alabama and Ohio State vs Clemson.
As for Kentucky, which of the above matchups would you like most?
