Video of Wenyen Gabriel committing to Kentucky Basketball on ESPN Recruiting Nation

Wenyen Gabriel apparently announced his commitment to the Kentucky Wildcats on ESPN Recruiting Nation, a show that airs on ESPNU.

Gabriel jumped on the show to talk about his recruitment before eventually making his announcement by saying, "I’m just so happy to announce, after weeks and weeks of contemplating and thinking, I’m proud to announce that I will be a Kentucky Wildcat."

It's become commonplace for anyone even considering UK to make an announcement on the ESPN networks, but this came fast and furious. Coming into Thursday, Duke and Maryland were still seen as slight leaders for Gabriel with UK surging. By noon, he was a Wildcat, giving them two pledges in the 2016 class along with forward Sacha Killeya-Jones.
