Vince Morrow has brought another quality player down from Youngstown, this time from Cardinal Mooney High.

Today may be NFL Draft Day 2014, but it's also Yahtzee! day for Jordan Jones, a 2015 linebacker out of Youngstown, Ohio — home base of the Brothers Stoops. Jones has no star rating right now from Rivals, but 247Sports has him as a 3-star as does Scout.com. Ben Roberts of NextCats reports thus: (Hat tip:  Wild Weasel)

Jones, a 6-foot-2, 205-pound prospect, has picked up several offers since then. Oklahoma, Miami, Nebraska, Michigan State and West Virginia were among the schools to extend offers, and several other top programs had evaluated him.

The relationship that UK built with him early in the recruitment paid off.

We have learned to pay as much attention to the offer sheet as to the star rating, and Jones' offer sheet is plenty impressive enough. Jones has been seen as a rising prospect since earlier this season:

The schools who are offering all likely see the same attributes. Jones is long at 6-foot-3 and 210 pounds, and played well last season for one of the top programs in the state of Ohio. MSU has been no stranger to recruiting Ohio linebackers as names like Greg Jones and Denicos Allen have come north from those fertile recruiting grounds.

Vince Morrow, as you might expect from an Ohio commitment, was the primary recruiter for Jones. Apparently, Jones has made multiple visits to Kentucky during his recruitment. Of course, there must be video, and you can find several over at Hudl.com. Also, as usual, we have Twitter:
