The College Football Playoff. It has been bandied about a lot over the summer, and it will become a reality this season. Dennis Dodd goes in-depth about what it really means.

Wish UL's Chris Jones the best on recovering from his stress fracture. I want them at full strength when we kick their ass…again

John Calipari previews Big Blue Bahamas:

Calipari — Karl-Anthony Towns way better than expected:
On Karl Towns: "Karl is way better than I thought when I saw him in high school. I mean, I coached him a little bit, but he never got in games and it was mostly practices and we were playing so many games he really didn’t do that much with the national team. . . . What I’m seeing right now is a very active player that’s skilled and runs better than I ever thought he’d run."
Toldja.

Eric Crawford takes a shot at Kentucky in a weird, backhanded way. Kyle Tucker takes that challenge. A one-sided twitter fight ensues, including a "Come on, man!" (evidently, Crawford is incognito at Valhalla).
I think this is priceless. I’m not sure why Crawford offered up an obviously offensive remark like that. Jerry Tipton was invited, and he’s known for being less than a total homer, so it’s definitely kind of weird. It’ll be interesting to see what Crawford has to say in his defense.

Devin Booker’s hard work is helping him fit in well at Kentucky.
