• Louisville-Indiana to headline Jimmy V. Classic. Good. Maybe they can both lose.

• The guys at ESPN pick the top 50 coaches in NCAA basketball. Here's #50-25. Hard to believe first-year coach Richard Pitino gets the nod over guys like Kevin Stallings and Dana Altman. I have to laugh at Tom Crean getting dissed. Bob Huggins at #30, behind guys like Jim Crews, Mick Cronin and Archie Miller? Hey, whatever.

• Liberty Ballers thinks that the Los Angeles Lakers will take Julius Randle with the 7th pick. I think Randle would be fine with playing alongside even an aging and past-his-prime Kobe Bryant.
