Today is moving day in the U.S. Open golf tournament, and boy, does the field need to get moving if they are planning to challenge Martin Kaymer. There are no really big names on the leader board right now.

Julius Randle says his foot is fine, but if whoever drafts him wants him to have surgery, he'd consider it. But remember this, Adrian Wojnarowski and "NBA executives:"
"It's never been considered," Randle said Friday. "I've met with my own doctor and talked to specialists, some of the best doctors in the world, and they said they wouldn't do anything with it."
Next time, make clear you are advancing a non-medical opinion, please. We are beginning to see NBA writers rationalize and backpedal on the original article, which tells me that this was all about circling the wagons, as I said.

Calipari is "a machine" according to Jarrod Polson. Yeah, but he's not a "tremendous machine" like Secretariat. Just sayin'. :-)

Calipari will have three "honorary coaches" on the bench with him in the Bahamas.

Julius Randle and Rajon Rondo? You never know.

Karl-Anthony Towns Jr. gets posted up in the annual Father-Son basketball camp.
-
Carlton Bragg shows his skills. I like his range, but he needs to learn to handle the ball better, and I saw no sign of an off-hand. Via NBC Sports.

Trey Lyles is out of the Kentucky-Indiana All-Star series, but he didn't have meningitis. That's very good news.
