Kentucky cornerback recruit Von Davis looked really good at the Jimbo Fisher football camp this past weekend.
For the Kentucky defense, it starts in the middle:
Right now, in the starting spots, you’ve got a senior with 56 career tackles in Mike Douglas, a Red-shirt freshman who has been whispered about for months in Regie Meant, a JUCO standout CJ Johnson, a Kentucky boy who has impressed coaches in practice in Jacob Hyde, and of course, a 5* Defensive Tackle that turned down Alabama for Kentucky in Matt Elam.
Kentucky loses a quarterback recruit to N.C. State. UK is pretty stacked at that spot, so landing a quality QB this year will be ... tricky.
Kentucky 2015 recruit Stephen Zimmerman is trying out for Team USA. Says he'll make the call "when it feels right."
Julius Randle's right foot will require surgery. He broke it as a senior in high school and it's apparently still giving him trouble. It's not expected to affect his NBA draft status or position.
