Tonight, it's the Wildcats versus the Gators for a berth in the SEC Men's Baseball Tournament finals. What a run it's been for Kentucky, no matter who wins. If the Wildcats had just played a bit better down the stretch of the season, they could've been in line for a national seed.

Nice shirt. The blue one, I mean.

Patrick Towles is has been working out in sand. I'm going to be working out in the sand, too, this week. More likely laying on it, though.
-
I'm excited to hear Neal Brown talk about Blake Bone and Dorian Baker:
"We need to add some length to our receiving corps, and with Dorian Baker and Blake Bone both coming in, those are guys that are long, and we’ve got to have some of those type guys that go down the field and make some plays, so I’m excited for them," he said.
We desperately need some taller wide receivers, and we're getting them.

Kentucky football is not getting a lot of national respect. Well, it's usually necessary to ... you know ... win games first.

When I hear somebody quote an unnamed NBA source, I ignore it. Unnamed NBA sources are among the dumbest basketball people on the planet. It looks even dumber right next to this:
Cuff: "I would go would Randle, too. His game might not be NBA-ready, but his body is most NBA-ready. He's very athletic. He's right hand dominant. Needs to work on that left hand a little bit. But you're looking at 16-17 points a game, maybe eight or nine rebounds. [my emphasis]
Dumb, and dumber. but I'd be happy to see Randle go to the Celtics.

Mike DeCourcy picks Arizona over Kentucky as the #1 preseason team. I respect and like DeCourcy, but I think he's just being contrarian here. Kentucky deserves to be #1 preseason, and you can rarely say that about any team.

- The iPhone 6 is coming! I don't know, for me, bigger isn't always better. I carry my phone in my pocket, and most of the larger phones are just too darn big to be comfortable. My iPhone 4 still works great, but I'm getting the itch to upgrade. It probably won't be for the newest model, though — I like to have phones where most of the bugs have been worked out before I buy them.
