The Bat Cats did it again last night, taking down the Mississippi St. Bulldogs in a 12-inning affair that ended with an attempted double-play, that wasn't, and scored the winning run. Here are the highlights:
Kentucky now advances to the semifinals of the SEC Tournament. Be sure to read Jleverenz's excellent open thread on the game. Also, there is a game recap at UKAthletics.com. Kentucky takes to the diamond in Hoover again on Saturday.
Tweet of the Morning
Matt Reida, by the way, was the MVP of that game. And looks like he just won a street fight.

The Ohio State Buckeyes were in Kentucky yesterday trying to woo Damien Harris:
Ohio State coaches were in Kentucky yesterday, where they visited Madison Southern running back Damien Harris. Many people (including myself) believe he is the top running back in the 2015 recruiting class as a whole.
He doesn't list Kentucky among his "major players," which can probably be forgiven, I think. But he may wind up having been wrong about that.

Four day schedule for the SEC Baseball tournament. Today are two elimination games between Arkansas and Ole Miss, followed by Mississippi St. and Florida.

Forget Arkansas: It's looking like the team from the bottom half of the bracket that will go on a run in Hoover this year is Kentucky -- yes, that Kentucky. After outlasting Mississippi State in a 12-inning marathon, the Wildcats are now one win away from playing for the SEC tournament championship, despite the fact that everything says they shouldn't.

- Jameis Winston may not get charged or thrown out of school for his alleged rape, which the prosecutors refused to prosecute, but his buddies who were with him might not get off so easy. Looks like laws and standards, as usual, are for the little people.

Kevin Ollie gets paid. After delivering an NCAA Tournament Championship in just his second year on the job, I'd say he deserves it.

Loaded draft means some talent will slip into the second round. It's hard for me to imagine that Johnny O'Bryant could be a second round pick.

Dayton's NCAA run was worth more than $72 million to them. Who says the little schools don't get a piece of the NCAA pie?

Johnny Manziel is being sued for $25 million for "sexual harrassment."
The complaint looks specious to me, and the punitive damages absurd. On the other hand, the descriptions of Manziel's "package" are more than a little hilarious.
Then there's this:
First of all, no man is going to call his own penis a "vienna sausage".

Suspiciously missing from the insane Manziel court document: A "ROLL TIDE" to cap it all off.

Manziel suit was definitely filed. I just double-checked for the filing in the court system: pic.twitter.com/91gJ75YMdf
