Kentucky Basketball: Willie Cauley-Stein is Coming Back to School

The Big Blue Nation rejoices as Willie Cauley-Stein announces he is returning to school for his junior year.

With this tweet, Willie Cauley-Stein revved up a fan base that has been wondering if a mass exodus of Cats was coming or not. While there are certainly some guys going, one thing is for sure: We will get at least one more year of Willie Cauley-Stein.

Willie's decision to come back has the Big Blue Nation wondering about the ridiculous front court Cal's Cats could be sporting next year.  Marcus Lee is likely coming back, now WCS... let us dare hope for a moment we are also getting Dakari Johnson back too. This is what the frontline could look like next season:

  • Willie Cauley-Stein  7'0" 244
  • Dakari Johnson 7'0" 265
  • Marcus Lee 6'9" 215
  • Karl Towns 7'0" 240
  • Trey Lyles  6'10" 245
I do not think we would have to worry about foul trouble next year.  One of the fun facts of WCS coming back is that he has a legitimate shot at breaking the career blocks record; he trails Jamaal Magloire by 102 blocks and he had more than that this year (Thanks to BCCatFan for pointing that out).
