Kentucky Wildcats Morning Quickies: "Saban Rule" Edition

The NCAA Rules Committee has deep-sixed the so-called "Saban Rule," the one that would require a penalty if the offense snapped the ball within the first ten seconds of the play clock. 74% of the comments received by the committee were negative.

  While the 2015 recruiting cycle is only beginning, we could be looking at a year in which Ohio State doesn't offer anyone from Glenville. Meanwhile, Mark Stoops and Kentucky continue to invade the state of Ohio and getting a foot into Glenville would be a huge boon for the team.

• Arkansas is on a major roll right now. I say the Hawgs are in, but the most interesting SEC team right now is Tennessee, who is currently ranked 14th on Kenpom.com, higher than Kentucky. Nobody this high on Kenpom has ever been left out of the tournament, and unless the Vols collapse, they'll be in this season also.
