Kentucky at South Carolina: Second Half Live Thread

Kentucky is down at the half to South Carolina. Can they shake off this funk and find a way to get back on track?

Mark Zerof-USA TODAY Sports

Well, here we go again. Whatever has infected this Kentucky Wildcats team — let's call it "jump shot syphilis" or JSS, still has complete hold of them. I have no idea what to make of the horror that was the first half. Neither do you. Don't even try, sometimes these things are just beyond understanding, like quantum mechanics or string theory.

The First Half Bad News Statistics

Don't look, I didn't.

I'm as frustrated as most of you are, but at this point, you just have to ride the bull and hope you don't wind up on the horny end again. Seeing Kentucky so pathetically bad for three straight halves is deeply disturbing, but no among of griping or complaining will have any affect on that. At this point, about all we can do is hope that whatever this is will run its course in time for the Wildcats to win the game. I refuse to speculate on that now, all I am hoping for is for the Wildcats to escape Columbia with a win. At this point, that's very much in doubt.

I'm going up and putting on my National Championship shirt. If I had a chicken, I'd sacrifice it to Jobu.

Go, 'Cats!
