Today is Martin Luther King Jr. day. Let's take a moment and remember him, those of us old enough to do so. Those who are not, check this out.

In case you missed it on Saturday.

This has already been linked, but in case you missed it: UK early enrollees move in:

Nutter training center weight room renovation.

UK target Rashad Vaughn plays on ESPNU Monday. Kentucky, North Carolina, Kansas, Iowa St. and UNLV are his finalists.
-
Kentucky recruit Luke Kennard's numbers on the season. They are ... impressive. Most impressive < / Darth Vader Voice>.
-
Julius Randle understands what Calipari meant about him being crowded in the second half:
"I see where Coach is coming from on that. The first half, I was a lot more open. In the second half, they kind of made the adjustment, packed it in. I probably tried to force things a little too much," he said.

Former UK player Leroy Byrd's son dies in an automobile accident. Our prayers and sympathy go out to the family
-
John Clay talks about Andrew Harrison's big day. If I were the twins, I would ignore all this NBA crap and play basketball. They'll be able to figure out at the end of the year if another season at Kentucky is best or not. For now, just play hard and let the chips fall where they may.
-
Land Grant Holy Land watches Luke Kennard and Tyler Ulis play. Consider:
In a head-to-head matchup with Ohio State commit AJ Harris, Ulis showed exactly why Kentucky basketball fans are exciting about his arrival in the fall. Going for a game-high 30 points, Ulis impressed with incredible ball-handling skills, shot-making ability, and command of the offense en route to Marian Catholic's 67-60 win vs. the hometown Dayton Dunbar Wolverines.
Read the whole thing, it's worth your time.

The Kansas-OSU game just missed turning into an all-out brawl. Watch as an OSU player apparently takes as wing at a Kansas guard.

Heh. Would Chane Behanan ever escape the weed jokes if he goes to Colorado St.? Not around here.

Florida squeaked by Auburn on Saturday. I've been hearing a little too much from Gators fans who think they are better than UK. I can't wait to find out. They sure didn't look better on Saturday.
-
After UCLA lost to Utah on Saturday, Bruins Nation is feeling the apathy. I found this interesting:
With Steve Alford at the helm of Coach's program, it's hard to care. Yes, you want to support the players, but every UCLA win is also a win for Steve Alford, and honestly, it's next-to-impossible to root for such a terrible human being.
Talk about your all-time short honeymoons.

Whither Oregon? In the crapper lately, it seems.

LSU gets a dominating win over Vanderbilt in Baton Rouge. When Kentucky travels down there in a couple of games, it's going to be a war.

It's Seattle versus Denver in Super Bowl XLVIII. I'm pulling for the Broncos. Early bettors have the Broncos as the favorites.

Here's something you don't see every day — hockey players ejected for fighting.
