Warm up your dice as it's time for a game of Yahtzee with Kentucky's latest football commit Kendall Randolph.

Four-star corner Kendall Randolph has committed to Kentucky, confirmed, first from @KySportsRadio.

News broke this afternoon that Kentucky received a commitment from cornerback Kendall Randolph. Randolph is a three star or four star depending on the recruiting service, and he will join a very talented freshmen class in the secondary along with Darius West, Jared Tucker, and Mike Edwards. I watched the US Marines All-American game a few weeks ago to see UK commit Mikel Horton in action, but came away impressed with Randolph's performance on defense and in special team duties. Randolph was expected to make an official visit to Lexington this weekend, but now it might just be a victory lap.
I asked SB Nation recruiting guru Budd Elliot and Chris Nee at 247 on Twitter what their thoughts were since they are based in Florida:
@SBNRecruiting @wamars2 Works hard. Smart back there. Not biggest or strongest. Good speed. Had trouble gaining traction w/ schools.

According to Rivals, he makes Kentucky's tenth four star commitment which is unprecedented in the program's history. Importantly, Kentucky seized a recruit out of Florida's panhandle and beat out Oklahoma and Louisville which were reportedly Randolph's finalists. All this on the heels of a 2-10 season. Kentucky is believed to have three spots left in this recruiting class with defensive tackle Matt Elam and an offensive linemen the main targets.
In wider recruiting news, Hank and I are working on A Sea of Blue's National Signing Day coverage. We hope to have detailed breakdowns of all of UK's commits as Kentucky receives their LOI's. So stay tuned for that. It should be a fun day for all as we celebrate Kentucky football's best signing day in, well, forever.
