2014 small forward and primary Kentucky target Stanley Johnson tweeted over the weekend that he will cut his list down to two schools last night. Ben Roberts at NextCats has the story:

Top UK basketball target Stanley Johnson tweeted late Sunday night that he plans to cut his list to five schools sometime Monday.

Johnson’s list currently stands at seven: Kentucky, Arizona, Florida, Kansas, Oregon, Southern Cal and UCLA. The 6-foot-7 small forward from Fullerton, Calif., previously said that he planned to take official visits to the first five schools on that list, while seeing the two nearby schools on unofficial trips.

Johnson is absolutely Coach Cal's top priority for the 2014 class, and has been since day one. He has all the game you could ask for out of a small forward — good size (6'6", 200#), great high school pedigree (Mater Dei), in-the-gym range on his jumper, a quick release, and extreme, filthy athleticism. He also has a working left hand, which you all know by now is one of my most coveted attributes.

Johnson reminds me very much of of Harrison Barnes. He has that same powerful build and ridiculous athleticism to go with a feathery outside touch. But unlike Barnes, Johnson really likes to take it to the rack. If you were designing a small forward for Calipari's system, he'd look just like Stanley Johnson.

Here's how good he is. Johnson wears #32:
