Memphis' Kuran Iverson thinks that the incoming Memphis class is "Way better" than the Kentucky incoming class. You may recall that Kuran is a second cousin of former NBA star Allen Iverson. Read all about it below.

Tweet of the Morning:

Somebody needs to tell the officials this.

Your Quickies:

Kentucky football
Kentucky basketball
  • There had been rumblings that 2014's Cliff Alexander wanted to go to school with Tyus Jones and Jahlil Okafor, but that talk seems to be dying down.

  • The incoming UK basketball class is beginning to arrive in Lexington.

Other UK sports
  • 10 Wildcats to participate in the NCAA Track Championship. Looks like track coach Edrick Floreal's expectations of rapid improvement have been met.

College football
  • A Miami football player filed a report with police that claims the investigator "coerced" information from him in the course of the NCAA's investigation of Miami.

Okay, and this is a crime how? Sorry, but unless there was some kind of actionable fraud, I can't see how this can be acted upon by the police. Maybe one of our legal eagles can enlighten me. It seems to me that if coercion of information were a crime, law enforcement breaks the law all the time.

  • SB Nation's Bill Connelly previews every SEC team here.

  • Now this is funny... unless you are an Alabama fan.

College basketball
  • Ugh. This isn't what Anthony Grant needed. Very strange situation.

  • Kuran Iverson has an awfully high opinion of Memphis' recruiting class, and I'd say this sort of bravado is genetic in his case. But suggesting Memphis' class is "way better" than Kentucky's is probable cause for a drug test, I'd say.

  • Rick Pitino gets his Maker's Mark bottle. I like Calipari's way better.
