I think I've done enough of these that I no longer have to add my caveats about offers and commitments, so I won't bore you with that.
Stoops & Company has already offered 42 players for the 2015 class and news this week is that we've already received our first commitment for 2016 and have made our first offer for the 2018 class. Somewhere in there 2017 was lost. This week ending today has been Kentucky Bourbon week and there have been plenty of opportunities to raise our glasses in celebration. From all the commitments, we should all be hung-over as well as hoarse from yelling "Yahtzee!"
It all started off with the Prime Time Camp last Saturday night with over 300 players in attendance and finished with Tyre Brady's commitment last evening. In between, last Saturday night and today, Kentucky received commitments from Denzel Ware (Opp, AL), Mike Edwards (Cincinnati), Daruis West (Lima, OH), Nico Firios (Longwood, FL), Stanley "Boom" Williams (Monroe, GA) and Brady (see below). Kentucky now stands in uncharted territory with its #3 Rivals ranking. Stoops and Company have accomplished a meeting of the right time and the right opportunities which is a rare occurrence. It doesn't happen often.
