After word got out that Kentucky Wildcats head coach John Calipari visited 2013 point guard Dominique Hawkins yet again, it appears there's fire to the smoke that a scholarship offer and subsequent commitment is imminent. According to reports, Calipari went down to Richmond (Ken.) Madison Central to chat with Hawkins and his coach yesterday.
Per Allen Feldhaus, Madison Central's high school coach, Calipari will reach back out to Hawkins tomorrow about a potential scholarship offer ($). Should Calipari extend an offer, Hawkins is expected to accept immediately. Recruitniks believe that Kentucky will offer a scholarship, regardless of what happens with Andrew Wiggins' decision.

Rumblings that there is going to be space for both Andrew Wiggins and Dominique Hawkins next year. That would mean 4 returning scholarships.

The Twitter account of Hawkins' AAU team, the Louisville Magic, went so far as to announce that Hawkins will commit to Kentucky tomorrow. Despite the tweet's contents, Hawkins wouldn't be eligible to sign a Letter of Intent until the Regular Signing Period starts in mid-April.

The exciting combo guard is expected to receive Kentucky's Mr. Basketball award tomorrow. Could a commitment to the Wildcats come along with that announcement? Stay tuned.
