2013 combo forward Aaron Gordon will reportedly announce his collegiate decision at the McDonald's All-American game on April 3. The news appears to have first been broken by Darren Sabedra of the San-Jose Mercury News, and has been subsequently confirmed by multiple national recruiting outlets.

Gordon, a five-star prospect from San Jose (Cal.) Archbishop Mitty, will select from the Arizona Wildcats, Washington Huskies, Kentucky Wildcats and Oregon Ducks. He took official visits to the first three schools last fall, while Oregon has made a late play in Gordon's recruitment.

The Wildcats are considered a long shot for Gordon's services. Most recruitniks believe that Gordon will stay closer to home, opting to play for one of the Pac-12 schools. That Kentucky still remains in Gordon's recruitment is a testament to the power of John Calipari's School of Recruiting Witchcraft and Wizardry.

In addition to Gordon, Kentucky is still recruiting two other five-star prospects. Power forward Julius Randle from Plano (Tex.) Prestonwood Christian is expected to announce his decision this week, on March 20. Small forward Andrew Wiggins from Huntington (W. Va.) Prep has yet to decide on an announcement date. Kentucky is considered a strong contender in both recruitments.

As for Gordon, he and his high school team will play in the California State Championship game on Saturday against Mater Dei. Mitty has won two consecutive state championships, with Gordon and company gunning for a third.
